Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab konflik interpersonal pada mahasiswa yang bekerja sebagai musisi reguler di wilayah Jakarta Selatan; (2) Menganalisis dampak konflik interpersonal pada mahasiswa yang bekerja sebagai musisi reguler di wilayah Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 mahasiswa yang bekerja sebagai musisi regular di wilayah Jakarta khususnya Jakarta Selatan (Live House Kemang, Sparta Live Bar, Big Brother Kemang). Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) konflik tidak hanya disebabkan oleh beban kerja ganda antara dunia akademik dan dunia musik, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan latar belakang budaya, kepribadian individu, pengalaman masa lalu, lingkungan sosial, serta perkembangan teknologi komunikasi; (2) Dampak signifikan konflik interpersonal pada mahasiswa yang bekerja sebagai musisi di wilayah Jakarta dalam aspek akademik, performa sebagai musisi yang menurun, dan rasa lelah yang berkepanjangan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa konflik interpersonal pada mahasiswa musisi reguler bersifat kompleks dan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor internal dan eksternal. ***** This study aims to: (1) identify the factors causing interpersonal conflict among students who work as regular musicians in the South of Jakarta area; (2) analyze the impact of interpersonal conflict on students who work as regular musicians in the Jakarta area. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study are five students who work as regular musicians in the Jakarta area, specifically South Jakarta (Live House Kemang, Sparta Live Bar, Big Brother Kemang). The results of this study indicate that: (1) conflict is not only caused by the dual workload between the academic world and the music world, but is also influenced by differences in cultural backgrounds, individual personalities, past experiences, social environments, and the development of communication technology; (2) there are significant impacts of interpersonal conflict on students who work as musicians in the Jakarta area in the academic aspect, decreased performance as musicians, and prolonged fatigue. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that interpersonal conflict among regular student musicians is complex in nature and influenced by various internal and external factors.
