Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari pelaksanaan Program Asesmen Bakat dan Talenta di SMP Negeri 115 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk penelitian evaluasi model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, guru yang tergabung dalam tim seleksi program, serta peserta didik yang terlibat program, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi guna memperoleh gambaran menyeluruh mengenai pelaksanaan program. Beberapa temuan penting dalam penelitian ini mencakup kesesuaian latar belakang, tujuan, sasaran, dan kebijakan pendukung program dengan kebutuhan peserta didik serta visi misi sekolah, ketersediaan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten, sarana dan prasarana memadai, materi atau soal seleksi yang sesuai standar OSN, pengelolaan anggaran yang baik, pelaksanaan seleksi melalui tiga tahap yang sistematis disertai monitoring dan evaluasi program, capaian prestasi peserta didik hingga tingkat Nasional pada bidang IPA dan IPS, serta berdampak positif pada peserta didik dengan peningkatan kesiapan, kepercayaan diri, motivasi, dan ketangguhan mental. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi context telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan visi misi sekolah, evaluasi input sebagian besar terpenuhi, evaluasi process berjalan terstruktur dan mendukung pencapaian target, dan evaluasi product menunjukkan keberhasilan akademik serta berdampak positif untuk peserta didik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa program Asesmen Bakat dan Talenta perlu dilanjutkan dan dikembangkan, khususnya pada bidang yang belum mencapai target prestasi di bidang Matematika, untuk memastikan keberlanjutan prestasi di ajang OSN tingkat Nasional. ***** This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Talent and Giftedness Assessment Program at SMP Negeri 115 Jakarta. This study uses a CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation research model with a qualitative approach. The research participants consisted of the principal, vice principal for student affairs, teachers who were members of the program selection team, and students involved in the program, who were selected using snowball sampling. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation studies to obtain a comprehensive picture of the program's implementation. Several important findings in this study include the suitability of the program's background, objectives, targets, and supporting policies with the needs of students and the school's vision and mission, the availability of competent human resources, adequate facilities and infrastructure, selection materials or questions that meet OSN standards, good budget management, the implementation of a systematic three-stage selection process accompanied by program monitoring and evaluation, student achievement at the national level in the fields of science and social studies, and a positive impact on students in terms of increased readiness, confidence, motivation, and mental resilience. The results of the study show that the context evaluation was in line with the needs and vision and mission of the school, the input evaluation was largely fulfilled, the process evaluation was structured and supported the achievement of targets, and the product evaluation showed academic success and a positive impact on students. The implication of this research is that the Talent and Gifted Assessment program needs to be continued and developed, especially in areas that have not yet achieved performance targets in mathematics, to ensure continued success in the National Science Olympiad.
