Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII-A di SMP Negeri 242 Jakarta melalui model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 242 Jakarta dari Januari sampai dengan Juni 2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang dilakukan secara kolabolatif dengan guru mata pelajaran. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis & McTaggart dalam 2 siklus yang setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 3 pertemuan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, dan observasi. Hasil belajar sebelum penerapan tindakan menunjukkan jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM sebanyak 16 siswa (44%), dan 20 siswa (56%) belum mencapai KKM. Setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray sebanyak dua siklus terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa terjadi secara bertahap pada setiap siklusnya. Diperoleh hasil belajar siswa pada siklus 1 presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 80% dengan nilai rata-rata belajar 86 kemudian meningkat pada siklus 2 sebesar 89% dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar 89, dimana hasil tersebut telah mencapai target Indikator Pencapaian Hasil (IPH) ≥ 80% dari KKM 82. Perubahan dan peningkatan keaktifan siswa sudah terlaksana pada siklus 2, dimana siswa sudah lebih aktif selama proses kegiatan pembelajaran dan memahami model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Rasa percaya diri siswa juga sudah meningkat, terlihat saat siswa yang mengajukan pertanyaan terkait materi yang dipelajari serta siswa juga terlihat percaya diri dalam mengemukakan pendapat. ***** This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of social studies subjects of class VIII-A students at SMP Negeri 242 Jakarta through the Two Stay Two Stray learning model. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 242 Jakarta from Januari to June 2025. The method used was classroom action research which was carried out collaboratively with subject teachers. The design of this study used the Kemmis & McTaggart model in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 meetings, namely planning, action, and observation. Learning outcomes before the implementation of the action showed that the number of students who achieved the KKM score was 16 students (44%), and 20 students (56%) had not achieved the KKM. After implementing the Two Stay Two Stray learning model for two cycles, there was a gradual increase in students' learning outcomes in each cycle. The student learning outcomes obtained in cycle 1 were 80% with an average learning score of 86, then increased in cycle 2 to 89% with an average learning score of 89, where these results had reached the target of the Results Achievement Indicator (IPH) ≥ 80% of the KKM 82. Changes and improvements in student engagement were observed in cycle 2, where students were more active during the learning process and understood the Two Stay Two Stray learning model. Students' self-confidence also increased, as seen when students asked questions related to the material being studied and when students appeared confident in expressing their opinions.
