Abstract

Hair Keratin Treatment merupakan salah satu perawatan rambut yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki struktur rambut rusak dengan cara mengisi kembali keratin yang hilang, sehingga rambut menjadi lebih halus, kuat, dan mudah diatur. Salah satu teknik yang banyak digunakan dalam perawatan ini adalah Brazilian Treatment, yang memerlukan ketelitian, pemahaman prosedur kerja, serta penerapan langkah-langkah yang tepat dan aman. Permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam praktik perawatan keratin rambut adalah masih terbatasnya media pembelajaran yang secara khusus membahas Hair Keratin Treatment dengan teknik Brazilian Treatment secara sistematis dan mudah dipahami, khususnya bagi mahasiswa maupun pemula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video tutorial perawatan keratin rambut dengan teknik Brazilian Treatment yang layak dan praktis sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli media, serta angket kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video tutorial perawatan keratin rambut dengan teknik Brazilian Treatment memperoleh penilaian kelayakan dari ahli materi sebesar 80% dan dari ahli media sebesar 88%, dengan kategori sangat layak. Selain itu, hasil uji coba kepada pengguna menunjukkan tingkat kepraktisan sebesar 92,56%% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, video tutorial yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan referensi dalam perawatan keratin rambut. ***** Hair Keratin Treatment is a hair care procedure aimed at repairing damaged hair structure by replenishing lost keratin, resulting in smoother, stronger, and more manageable hair. One of the techniques commonly used in this treatment is the Brazilian Treatment, which requires precision, an understanding of work procedures, and the correct and safe application of each step. The problem identified in the practice of hair keratin treatment is the limited availability of learning media that specifically discuss Hair Keratin Treatment using the Brazilian Treatment technique in a systematic and easily understandable manner, particularly for students and beginners. This study aims to develop a video tutorial on Hair Keratin Treatment using the Brazilian Treatment technique that is feasible and practical as a learning medium. The research method employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D development model, which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The research instruments included validation sheets from material experts and media experts, as well as practicality questionnaires. The results show that the video tutorial on Hair Keratin Treatment using the Brazilian Treatment technique obtained a feasibility score of 80% from material experts and 88% from media experts, both categorized as very feasible. In addition, user trials indicated a practicality level of 92.56%, categorized as very practical. Therefore, the developed video tutorial can be used as a learning medium and reference for Hair Keratin Treatment.
