Abstract

Terminal Petikemas Koja menjadi salah satu operator pelabuhan di Indonesia yang melayani penanganan bongkar muat petikemas. Penanganan bongkar muat yang efektif sangat penting dalam rangka menciptakan biaya operasional angkutan pada tingkat minimum. Terdapat indikator yang menjadi tolak ukur suatu keefektifan pada kegiatan bongkar muat. Laporan Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan bongkar muat pada Terminal Petikemas Koja dengan BCH (Box Container Hour). Kegiatan bongkar muat dapat dikatakan efektif apabila hasil realisasi BCH mencapai atau melebihi standar target. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatis dengan data yang dikumpulkan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder melalui observasi, wawancara, dan beberapa dokumen pendukung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat ketidakefektifan bongkar muat di tahun 2024 pada bulan Juli dengan raihan BCH 23.91 box/hour dan bulan September dengan raihan BCH 22.59 box/hour, akan tetapi secara keseluruhan rata-rata BCH di tahun 2024 mencapai 25.12 box/hour diatas standar target BCH yaitu 24 box/hour, dapat dikatakan bahwa kegiatan bongkar muat di tahun 2024 efektif. Diketahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan tidak tercapainya efektif meliputi faktor alat, kepadatan traffic dilapangan, dan keterbatasan lapangan. ***** Koja Container Terminal is one of the port operators in Indonesia that serves the handling of loading and unloading of containers. Effective handling of loading and unloading is very important in order to keep transportation operational costs at a minimum level. There are indicators that become a benchmark for the effectiveness of loading and unloading activities. This Final Project report aims to determine the effectiveness of loading and unloading at the Koja Container Terminal with BCH (Box Container Hour). Loading and unloading activities can be said to be effective if the results of BCH realization reach or exceed the target standard. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with data collected namely primary data and secondary data through observation, interviews, and several supporting documents. The results of this study indicate that there is an ineffective loading and unloading in 2024 in July with the achievement of BCH 23.91 box/hour and in September with the achievement of BCH 22.59 box/hour, but overall the average BCH in 2024 reaches 25.12 box/hour above the standard BCH target of 24 boxes/hour, it can be said that loading and unloading activities in 2024 are effective. It is known that the factors that cause it to not be achieved effectively include factors of equipment, traffic density in the field, and field limitations.
