Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya mengajar dan kreativitas guru Gen Z terhadap keterlibatan siswa di kelas. Keterlibatan siswa diartikan sebagai keterlibatan perilaku, emosional, dan kognitif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMA Labschool Cibubur dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 252 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik secara parsial maupun simultan gaya mengajar dan kreativitas guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterlibatan siswa. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 68,7% variasi atau perubahan pada keterlibatan siswa dapat dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel independen, yaitu gaya mengajar dan kreativitas guru, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas guru memiliki pengaruh yang lebih dominan dibandingkan gaya mengajar terhadap keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan implikasi teoritis dalam pengembangan kajian pendidikan, khususnya terkait karakteristik guru Gen Z, serta implikasi praktis bagi peneliti, sekolah, universitas, hingga pihak lainnya dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa melalui pembelajaran yang kreatif, inovatif, dan adaptif. Kata Kunci : Gaya Mengajar, Kreativitas Guru, Guru Gen Z, Keterlibatan Siswa. ***** This study aims to analyze the effect of teaching style and creativity of Generation Z teachers on student engagement in the classroom. Student engagement is defined as students’ behavioral, emotional, and cognitive involvement in the learning process. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The research population consisted of students at SMA Labschool Cibubur, with a sample of 252 respondents selected through proportionate random sampling. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires, while data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results indicate that both partially and simultaneously, teaching style and teacher creativity have a significant effect on student engagement. The coefficient of determination shows that 68.7% of the variance in student engagement can be explained by the two independent variables, namely teaching style and teacher creativity, while the remaining variance is influenced by other factors outside this study. Furthermore, the findings reveal that teacher creativity has a more dominant influence on student engagement than teaching style. This study is expected to provide theoretical implications for the development of educational research, particularly related to the characteristics of Generation Z teachers, as well as practical implications for researchers, schools, universities, and other stakeholders in enhancing student engagement through creative, innovative, and adaptive learning practices.
