Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi belajar dan manajemen waktu terhadap prestasi belajar, serta peran mediasi prokrastinasi akademik. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan 2022 dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik proportional random sampling dan data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar dan manajemen waktu berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar, namun berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Selain itu, prokrastinasi akademik terbukti berpengaruh negatif terhadap prestasi belajar dan secara signifikan memediasi pengaruh motivasi belajar serta manajemen waktu terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya peningkatan motivasi dan manajemen waktu untuk menekan prokrastinasi demi optimalisasi prestasi akademik. ***** This study aims to analyze the influence of learning motivation and time management on student achievement, as well as the mediating role of academic procrastination. The research was conducted on students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Jakarta, class of 2022, using quantitative methods. Sampling was carried out through proportional random sampling technique, and data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that learning motivation and time management had a positive and significant effect on student achievement but had a negative and significant effect on academic procrastination. Furthermore, academic procrastination was proven to have a negative effect on student achievement and significantly mediated the influence of learning motivation and time management on student achievement. The implications emphasize the need to improve motivation and time management to reduce procrastination for optimizing academic achievement.
