Amalia Fitri. 2025. Pengaruh Strategi Pembelajaran Pick, List, Evaluate, Activate, Supply, End (PLEASE) Berbantuan Media Canva Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Iklan Siswa Kelas VIII. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh dari penerapan strategi pembelajaran Pick, List, Evaluate, Activate, Supply, End (PLEASE) berbantuan media Canva terhadap kemampuan menulis teks iklan siswa kelas VIII. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas VIII-8 SMP Negeri 126 Jakarta dengan jumlah 33 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil pemerolehan data menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan penerapan strategi Pick, List, Evaluate, Activate, Supply, End (PLEASE) berbantuan media Canva. Rentang nilai pretest yang diperoleh siswa berkisar antara 41-84 dengan nilai rata-rata 55,58. Sementara itu, rentang nilai pada saat posttest berkisar antara 53-92 dengan nilai rata-rata 65,30. Selisih antara nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest yaitu 9,8 poin. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan t hitung > t tabel = 40,040 > 2,037 dalam taraf signifikasi a = 0,05 dengan H1 diterima, sedangkan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Pick, List. Evaluate, Activate, Suply, End (PLEASE) berbantuan media Canva terhadap kemampuan menulis teks iklan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 126 Jakarta. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of applying the Pick, List, Evaluate, Activate, Supply, End (PLEASE) learning strategy assisted by Canva media on the advertising text writing skills of eighth-grade students. This study used a quantitative experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study consisted of 33 eighth-grade students from SMP Negeri 126 Jakarta as the experimental class. The results showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores after the application of the Pick, List, Evaluate, Activate, Supply, End (PLEASE) strategy assisted by Canva media. The range of pretest scores obtained by students was between 41 and 84, with an average score of 55,58. Meanwhile, the range of posttest scores was between 53 and 92, with an average score of 65,30. The difference between the pretest and posttest average scores was 9.8 points.
