Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Memrise terhadap keterampilan menyimak bahasa Prancis A1 siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 91 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi-experimental dan desain one group pre-test post-test. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 36 siswa kelas XII-1. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tes keterampilan menyimak berupa Compréhension Orale DELF A1 serta angket untuk mengetahui intensitas penggunaan aplikasi Memrise dalam pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes awal (pre-test), pemberian perlakuan menggunakan aplikasi Memrise, tes akhir (post-test), dan penyebaran angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, dan uji hipotesis Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 55,44 dengan nilai terendah 32 dan tertinggi 76, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test meningkat menjadi 78,11 dengan nilai terendah 56 dan tertinggi 96. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukan nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05, sehingga hipotesis alternatif diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Memrise berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menyimak bahasa Prancis A1 siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 91 Jakarta ***** This study aims to determine the effect of using the Memrise application on the A1-level French listening skills of Grade XII students at SMA Negeri 91 Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a one-group pre-test post-test design. The research subjects consisted of 36 students from class XII-1. The instruments used in this study included a listening skills test in the form of the DELF A1 Compréhension Orale and a questionnaire to identify the intensity of using the Memrise application in learning. Data were collected through a pre-test, treatment using the Memrise application, a post-test, and the distribution of questionnaires. The data were analyzed using validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test for hypothesis testing. The results showed that the average pre-test score was 55.44, with the lowest score of 32 and the highest score of 76, while the average post-test score increased to 78.11, with the lowest score of 56 and the highest score of 96. The Wilcoxon test results indicated a significance value of less than 0.05; therefore, the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Memrise application has a significant effect on improving the A1-level French listening skills of Grade XII students at SMA Negeri 91 Jakarta.
