Abstract
***** This final project explores psychological trauma resulting from accusations of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) experienced by the artist during his school years. These accusations were delivered by a teacher without medical competence and were repeatedly expressed during various conflicts, unconsciously shaping the artist’s misunderstanding of his own identity. This condition caused psychological impacts such as anxiety, stress, interpersonal conflict, and identity fragmentation. The purpose of this artistic creation is to visualize these inner experiences through surrealist painting as a medium for expressing the subconscious. The creative method includes literature study, observation, visual exploration, artwork production, as well as interviews and discussions with experts related to the interpretation of the work. The artworks are realized using cardboard as the primary medium and acrylic paint, employing symbolic elements and form distortion to represent internal conflict. The results indicate that surrealistic elements are able to convey complex psychological experiences visually and emotionally, while also opening a space for reflection for viewers regarding the impact of negative verbal expressions and power relations within educational environments. Through this work, the artist hopes to raise awareness that self-understanding and psychological recovery are continuous and ongoing processes.
