Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya antusias membaca siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan produk e-book interaktif berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan bantuan aplikasi Flip Builder untuk pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial siswa kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan pendekatan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa rata-rata kelayakan e-book interaktif mendapat nilai 99% berkategori sangat layak oleh ahli materi, nilai 89% berkategori sangat layak oleh ahli bahasa, nilai 94% berkategori sangat layak oleh ahli media, serta rata-rata penilaian oleh siswa kelas IV SD pada uji coba one to one diperoleh 97% berkualifikasi sangat baik, pada uji coba small group diperoleh 98% berkualifikasi sangat baik, dan pada uji coba field group diperoleh 97% berkualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-book interaktif berbasis PBL (Problem Based Learning) memiliki keunggulan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa kelas IV SD. Melalui produk yang dikembangkan, siswa kelas IV dapat turut serta dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar pada pembelajaran IPS dengan media yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan belajar siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian pengembangan ini telah menghasilkan produk e-book interaktif yang berkualifikasi sangat baik dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas IV SD. ***** This research is based on the low level of students’ reading enthusiasm in Social Studies learning at the elementary school level. The purpose of this study is to develop an interactive e-book product based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with the assistance of the Flip Builder application for Social Studies learning for fourth-grade elementary school students.The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE approach (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of the study indicate that the average feasibility of the interactive e-book achieved a score of 99%, categorized as very feasible by material experts; 89%, categorized as very feasible by language experts; and 94%, categorized as very feasible by media experts. In addition, the average assessment by fourth-grade students in the one-to-one trial obtained 97%, categorized as very good; in the small group trial, 98%, categorized as very good; and in the field group trial, 97%, categorized as very good. The findings show that the PBL-based interactive e-book has advantages that align with the needs and characteristics of fourth-grade elementary school students. Through the developed product, fourth-grade students can actively participate in the teaching and learning process of Social Studies using media that suit their learning characteristics and needs. This development research has produced an interactive e-book that is classified as very good and feasible for use in Social Studies learning for fourth-grade elementary school students.
