Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peran guru dalam mewujudkan merdeka belajar yang menghargai keberagaman karakteristik peserta didik melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Namun, dalam praktiknya, masih terdapat tantangan bagi guru dalam menyesuaikan pembelajaran dengan kesiapan, minat, dan profil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran guru dalam mewujudkan merdeka belajar melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di SDN Tugu 10 Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan melalui tahapan mengelola data, membaca dan memberi catatan khusus, mendeskripsikan, mengklasifikasikan dan menafsirkan data serta menyajikan dan memvisualisasikan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan sebagai fasilitator, motivator, inspirator, dan evaluator dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Guru melaksanakan asesmen diagnostik, merancang pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan peserta didik, menerapkan diferensiasi konten, proses, lingkungan belajar, produk, serta melakukan asesmen berkelanjutan. Penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi tersebut menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik, dan mendukung terwujudnya kemandirian belajar. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan strategi yang efektif dalam mewujudkan merdeka belajar apabila didukung oleh kompetensi dan fleksibilitas guru dalam merancang pembelajaran. ***** This study was motivated by the importance of the role of teachers in realizing independent learning that respects the diversity of student characteristics through differentiated learning. However, in practice, there are still challenges for teachers in adjusting learning to the readiness, interests, and learning profiles of students. This study aims to examine the role of teachers in realizing independent learning through differentiated learning at SDN Tugu 10 Depok. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study design. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis was carried out through the stages of data management, reading and taking special notes, describing, classifying and interpreting data, as well as presenting and visualizing data. The results of the study indicate that teachers play the role of facilitators, motivators, inspirers, and evaluators in differentiated learning. Teachers carry out diagnostic assessments, design learning according to the needs of students, apply differentiation in content, process, learning environment, and products, and conduct continuous assessments. The implementation of differentiated learning creates a pleasant learning atmosphere, increases student activity, and supports the realization of independent learning. Differentiated learning is an effective strategy in realizing independent learning when supported by teacher competence and flexibility in designing learning.
