Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi Teaching Factory (TeFa) berbasis Unit Produksi pada aspek manajemen di SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan informan yang terdiri atas kepala sekolah, ketua program keahlian, guru produktif Teknik Pemesinan, pengelola Unit Produksi, serta pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan Teaching Factory. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña yang meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Teaching Factory berbasis Unit Produksi telah menerapkan fungsi manajemen yang meliputi perencanaan (planning), pengorganisasian (organizing), pelaksanaan (actuating), dan pengawasan (controlling). Penerapan fungsi-fungsi tersebut mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis produksi melalui perencanaan program kerja, pembagian tugas yang jelas, pelaksanaan kegiatan sesuai prosedur kerja, serta pengawasan melalui pemantauan dan evaluasi. Meskipun masih terdapat beberapa kendala, implementasi Teaching Factory berbasis Unit Produksi secara umum telah berjalan sesuai dengan fungsi manajemen POAC dan mendukung keberlangsungan pembelajaran berbasis produksi di SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta. Kata kunci: Manajemen POAC; Teaching Factory; Unit Produksi ***** This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Unit Production-based Teaching Factory (TeFa) from a management perspective at SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta. This study employed a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving the school principal, the head of the machining engineering department, productive subject teachers in the Machining Engineering Program, the Unit Production manager, and other parties involved in the implementation of the Teaching Factory. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which consists of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The trustworthiness of the data was established through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Unit Production-based Teaching Factory has applied the four management functions, namely planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling (POAC). These management functions support the implementation of production-based learning through work program planning, clear task and responsibility allocation, the implementation of activities in accordance with established work procedures, and continuous monitoring and evaluation. Although several challenges were identified during its implementation, the Unit Productionbased Teaching Factory has generally been implemented in accordance with the POAC management framework and has supported the sustainability of productionbased learning at SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta.
