Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Deep Learning pada proses pembelajaran Manicure SPA di SMK Negeri 7 Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan praktik, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta kesiapan menghadapi dunia kerja. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan triangulasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas satu guru mata pelajaran Manicure SPA dan sembilan peserta didik kelas XI Program Keahlian Kecantikan Kulit dan Rambut. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Deep Learning telah terlaksana melalui briefing, demonstrasi, diskusi, praktik langsung, tutor sebaya, refleksi, dan evaluasi. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang mendorong peserta didik membangun pengetahuan, memahami fungsi alat dan bahan, menganalisis prosedur kerja, serta menerapkan keterampilan Manicure SPA secara tepat. Faktor pendukung meliputi kompetensi guru, penggunaan jobsheet, demonstrasi, tutor sebaya, fasilitas laboratorium, dan pengalaman belajar dari industri. Faktor penghambat meliputi keterbatasan beberapa alat praktik, waktu menunggu giliran praktik, serta perbedaan kemampuan peserta didik. Penerapan Deep Learning meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan praktik, dan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna serta relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. ***** This study aims to analyze the implementation of Deep Learning in the Manicure SPA learning process at SMK Negeri 7 Tangerang Selatan. The study was motivated by the importance of student-centered learning in improving conceptual understanding, practical skills, critical thinking, and students’ readiness to enter the workforce. This study employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and triangulation. The research subjects consisted of one Manicure SPA teacher and nine eleventh-grade students from the Beauty Skin and Hair Expertise Program. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of Deep Learning was carried out through briefing sessions, demonstrations, discussions, hands-on practice, peer tutoring, reflection, and evaluation. The teacher acted as a facilitator who encouraged students to construct knowledge, understand the functions of tools and materials, analyze work procedures, and perform Manicure SPA skills appropriately. Supporting factors included teacher competence, the use of job sheets, demonstrations, peer tutoring, laboratory facilities, and industry-based learning experiences. Inhibiting factors included limited practical equipment, waiting time for practice sessions, and differences in students’ abilities. The implementation of Deep Learning enhanced students’ conceptual understanding, practical skills, and active participation, making learning more meaningful and relevant to workplace demands.
