Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh penilaian estetika Burung Rimbo pada songket Silungkang menggunakan teknik printing di produk vest. Menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, serta menggunakan desain penelitian Pre-Experimental design berbentuk One-Shoot Case Study. Penelitian ini menghasilkan lima produk vest dengan hasil eksplorasi burung rimbo pada songket Silungkang menggunakan teknik printing yang dinilai oleh lima panelis ahli menggunakan instrumen kuisioner atau angket dengan skala pengukuran rating scale, terdiri dari 18 butir pertanyaan. Tahapan penelitian meliputi tahap eksplorasi motif, tahap perancangan produk, Menyusun instrumen penelitian, penilaian oleh panelis ahli, dan analisis data. Penelitian ini dinilai berdasarkan teori estetika meliputi aspek wujud/rupa, bobot/isi, dan penyajian. Hasil penilaian estetika secara keseluruhan dari aspek wujud/rupa, bobot/isi, dan penyajian memperoleh hasil sebesar 84.8% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan aspek wujud/rupa yang meliputi sub indikator bentuk/bidang, warna, irama, keseimbangan memperoleh hasil 84.5% dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek bobot/isi dengan penerapan gagasan atau sumber ide memperoleh hasil sebesar 82.4% dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek penyajian dengan penerapan media dan sarana memperoleh hasil sebesar 89% dengan kategori sangat baik. Produk dengan hasil tertinggi terdapat pada desain 2 dengan hasil sebesar 85.7% dengan kategori sangat baik dan produk dengan hasil terendah terdapat pada desain 1 dengan hasil 83.1% namun, tetap dalam kategori sangat baik. It uses an experimental research method with a quantitative approach, and employs a Pre-Experimental design in the form of a One-Shot Case Study. The study produced five vest products with Rimbo bird explorations on Silungkang songket using printing techniques, which were evaluated by five expert panelists using a questionnaire instrument with a rating scale, consisting of 18 questions. The research stages include pattern exploration, product design, preparing research instruments, expert panel evaluation, and data analysis. This research is evaluated based on aesthetic theory, including aspects of form/appearance, substance/content, and presentation. The overall aesthetic assessment from the aspects of form/appearance, content/weight, and presentation scored 84.8%, falling into the very good category. Based on the form/appearance aspect, which includes sub-indicators like shape/field, color, rhythm, and balance, it scored 84.5%, also in the very good category. The content/weight aspect, with the application of ideas or sources of ideas, scored 82.4% in the very good category. The presentation aspect, with the use of media and tools, scored 89%, which is still very good. The highest-scoring product was design 2 with 85.7%, categorized as very good, while the lowest was design 1 with 83.1%, but still within the very good category.
