Abstract
***** This study aims to analyze the impact of inflation, digital infrastructure, and cybersecurity on e-commerce revenue in developing countries during the 2023–2024 period. Developing countries were selected because they have high potential for digital economic growth but still face challenges such as relatively high inflation rates, digital infrastructure gaps, and uneven cybersecurity. This study employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression with the Fixed Effects Model (FEM). The research data consists of secondary data obtained from the World Bank, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and Statista, with a sample of 62 developing countries over the 2023–2024 period, resulting in 124 observations. The results show that inflation has a negative but insignificant effect on e-commerce revenue (t-statistic = -0.332; p-value = 0.7404). Digital infrastructure has a positive and significant effect on e-commerce revenue (t-statistic = 3.733; p-value = 0.0004). Cybersecurity also has a positive and significant effect on e-commerce revenue (t-statistic = 3.741; p-value = 0.0004). The adjusted R² value of 0.997940 indicates that 99.794% of the variation in e-commerce revenue can be explained by the variables of inflation, digital infrastructure, and cybersecurity, while the remaining 0.206% is explained by other factors outside the research model. These findings suggest that improvements in the quality of digital infrastructure and cybersecurity play a greater role in boosting e-commerce revenue in developing countries than inflation stability did during the study period.
