Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas 11 di SMA Negeri 27 Jakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen. Pada desain ini di dalamnya terdapat kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yang ditentukan tidak secara random. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 72 siswa dengan masing-masing berjumlah 36 siswa dari kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar ekonomi siswa soal latihan ekonomi dan motivasi belajar diukur dengan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan siswa yang menggunakan media konvensional. Adapun model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. Berikutnya terdapat berbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi antara siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah dengan siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi, serta terdapat pengaruh dari interaksi gabungan dari dua variabel yaitu model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas 11 SMA Negeri 27 Jakarta. ***** This study aims to examine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning model and learning motivation on the economics learning outcomes of Grade 11 students at State Senior High School 27 Jakarta. This study employed a quantitative research method using a quasi-experimental approach. The research design consisted of a control class and an experimental class, which were not randomly assigned. The sample consisted of 72 students, with 36 students in the control class and 36 students in the experimental class. Data on students’ economics learning outcomes were collected using economics achievement tests, while learning motivation was measured using a questionnaire. The results showed that there was a difference in the economics learning outcomes between students who were taught using the Problem-Based Learning model and those who were taught using conventional learning methods. The Problem-Based Learning model had a positive and significant effect on students’ economics learning outcomes. Furthermore, there was a difference in economics learning outcomes between students with low learning motivation and those with high learning motivation. The results also indicated an interaction effect between the Problem-Based Learning model and learning motivation on the economics learning outcomes of Grade 11 students at State Senior High School 27 Jakarta.
