Abstract
Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh career adaptability dan digital literacy terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa yang menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja yang dinamis dan kompetitif, sehingga membutuhkan kemampuan beradaptasi terhadap perubahan karir dan penguasaan literasi digital yang memadai agar lulusan siap bersaing di pasar kerja. Penelitian ini melibatkan populasi mahasiswa Program Studi Kependidikan Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan 2022 sejumlah 330 mahasiswa, dengan rumus Slovin tingkat toleransi kesalahan 5% diperoleh sampel sebanyak 181 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, dan data diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 30. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan metode kuesioner dalam google form menggunakan skala likert 1-5, serta dilakukan uji prasyarat dan uji asumsi klasik yang dalam penelitian ini diperoleh nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,200. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa variabel career adaptability memiliki nilai rata-rata 47,713, digital literacy 47,674, dan kesiapan kerja 99,088 yang semuanya berada pada kategori tinggi, mengindikasikan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan adaptasi karir dan literasi digital yang baik serta kesiapan kerja yang matang. Hasil penelitian ditunjukkan oleh uji F dan T yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dan mendapatkan hasil sebesar 6,447 > 1,973 untuk t hitung career adaptability serta nilai t hitung 8,144 > 1,973 untuk digital literacy, sedangkan hasil dari tabel ANOVA untuk uji F hitung sebesar 117,712 > 3,05, yang berarti secara parsial maupun simultan career adaptability dan digital literacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa koefisien determinasi pengaruh career adaptability dan digital literacy berkontribusi sebesar 56,9% terhadap kesiapan kerja, sedangkan sebagian dari 43,1% variabilitas dalam kesiapan kerja dipengaruhi oleh determinan lain yang belum tercakup dalam penelitian ini seperti pengalaman magang, soft skills, dukungan sosial, dan efikasi diri, sehingga kajian mendatang dianjurkan untuk menelusuri dimensi lain yang mungkin relevan dalam menjelaskan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa menghadapi dunia kerja. ***** The primary focus of this study is to examine the influence of career adaptability and digital literacy on student work readiness, as students face dynamic and competitive labor market demands requiring strong career adaptability skills and adequate digital literacy mastery to ensure graduates are competitive in the workforce. This study involved a population of 330 students from the Education Study Programs (Economics Education, Accounting Education, Office Administration Education, and Business Education) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, class of 2022, with a sample of 181 respondents determined using the Slovin formula with a 5% error tolerance and selected through Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, and data were processed using SPSS (Statistics Product and Service Solutions) version 30. This quantitative research employed a questionnaire method via Google Forms using a 1-5 Likert scale, along with prerequisite tests and classical assumption tests including the normality test where data were considered normally distributed if the significance value > 0.05, and in this study the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value was obtained at 0.200. Descriptive statistical analysis showed that career adaptability had a mean score of 47.713, digital literacy 47.674, and work readiness 99.088, all of which fall into the high category, indicating that students possess good career adaptability skills, digital literacy, and mature work readiness. The research results were demonstrated by the F and T tests used to test hypotheses, yielding results of 6.447 > 1.973 for the t-calculated of career adaptability and 8.144 > 1.973 for digital literacy, while the ANOVA table for the F-test showed 117.712 > 3.05, meaning that both partially and simultaneously, career adaptability and digital literacy have a positive and significant effect on student work readiness. The results showed that the coefficient of determination of the influence of career adaptability and digital literacy contributed 56.9% to work readiness, while 43.1% of the variability in work readiness is influenced by other determinants not covered in this study such as internship experience, soft skills, social support, and self-efficacy; therefore, future research is encouraged to explore additional dimensions that may be relevant in explaining student work readiness in facing the workforce.
