Abstract

(2026) “Persepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Fungsi Drainase Dalam Mengatasi Masalah Banjir di Lingkungan RT 007/RW 09 Kelurahan Jaticempaka Kecamatan Pondok Gede” Skripsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi masyarakat terhadap fungsi drainase dalam mengatasi masalah banjir di lingkungan RT 007/RW 09 Kelurahan Jaticempaka, Kecamatan Pondok Gede. Persepsi masyarakat dikaji melalui lima aspek, yaitu pengetahuan, pemahaman, pengalaman, harapan, dan partisipasi masyarakat terhadap fungsi drainase. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Informan penelitian terdiri atas masyarakat setempat serta informan pendukung seperti Ketua RT 007 dan Ketua RW 09 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan tahapan kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Untuk keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap fungsi drainase pada umumnya tergolong baik. Berdasarkan 8 dari 10 informan, masyarakat telah mengetahui bahwa drainase berfungsi dalam mengalirkan air hujan dan mengurangi risiko genangan air maupun banjir. Masyarakat juga memahami bahwa kondisi drainase yang bersih dan terpelihara sangat berpengaruh terhadap kelancaran aliran air. Berdasarkan pengalaman masyarakat, 8 dari 10 informan menyatakan bahwa genangan air masih terjadi pada saat hujan dengan intensitas tinggi, sedimentasi pada saluran air, penyumbatan oleh sampah, berkurangnya daerah resapan air, serta meluapnya aliran sungai. Masyarakat berharap adanya pemeliharaan drainase secara rutin, peningkatan koordinasi antara pemerintah dan masyarakat, serta perbaikan saluran yang mengalami kerusakan. Partisipasi masyarakat telah diwujudkan melalui kegiatan kerja bakti, pembersihan saluran air, dan melaporkan kejadian kepada ketua RT 007/ RW 09 apabila terdapat masalah pada saluran air di lingkungan meskipun keterlibatan seluruh masyarakat masih harus ditingkatkan. Dengan demikian, efektivitas fungsi drainase dalam mengatasi banjir tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kondisi fisik saluran, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh kepedulian masyarakat dan kolaborasi antara masyarakat dengan pemerintah dalam pengelolaan drainase secara berkesinambungan. Jakarta: Building Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This study aims to describe the community perception of the function of drainage in overcoming flood problems in RT 007/RW 09, Jaticempaka Village, Pondok Gede District. Community perception was analyzed through five aspects, namely knowledge, understanding, experience, expectations, and community participation regarding the function of drainage. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research informants consisted of local residents and supporting informants, such as the Head of RT and the Head of RW, who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The validity of the data was ensured through source triangulation. The results of this study show that the community's perception of the function of drainage is generally good. Based on the interviews with 8 out of 10 informants, most people know that drainage functions to channel rainwater and reduce the risk of waterlogging and flooding. The community also understands that clean and well-maintained drainage has an important role in keeping the water flowing properly. Based on the community's experience, 8 out of 10 informants stated that waterlogging still occurs during heavy rainfall due to sediment buildup in the drainage channels, blockages caused by garbage, the decreasing number of water infiltration areas, and overflowing rivers. The community expects regular drainage maintenance, better coordination between the government and the community, and repairs to damaged drainage channels. Community participation has been carried out through community service activities, cleaning drainage channels, and reporting problems to the Head of RT 007/RW 09 whenever there are issues with the drainage system in the neighborhood, although the participation of all community members still needs to be improved. Therefore, the effectiveness of drainage in overcoming flood problems is not only determined by the physical condition of the drainage system but is also influenced by community awareness and cooperation between the community and the government in managing drainage in a sustainable way.
