Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi secara empiris terkait proses penguatan karakter peduli lingkungan bagi siswa di SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta serta untuk mendapatkan informasi secara empiris terkait apakah ada perubahan karakter siswa dengan adanya proses penguatan karakter peduli lingkungan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Dengan melakukan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 6 orang informan dan 1 orang key informan. Teknik kalibrasi keabsahan data dilakukan dengan cara membercheck, audit trial, triangulasi dan expert opinion. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan bulan Juni 2020. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya proses penguatan karakter peduli lingkungan bagi siswa di SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga proses. Pertama, adanya peraturan beserta sanksi terkait dengan peduli lingkungan. Kedua, melalui penanaman pembiasaan untuk menjaga kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan. Ketiga, dengan melaksanakan program kerja terkait dengan peduli lingkungan. Perubahan karakter yang terjadi dengan adanya proses penguatan karakter peduli lingkungan bagi siswa di SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta, menjadikan siswa lebih peduli dengan lingkungan sekolah maupun lingkungan sekitar. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses penguatan karakter peduli lingkungan di SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta telah terlaksana dan memenuhi indikator karakter peduli lingkungan yang dapat membuat siswa lebih peduli dengan lingkungan sekolah dan lingkungan sekitar. The purpose of this study is to obtain information empirically related to the process of strengthening the character of caring for the environment for students at SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta and to obtain information empirically related whether there is a change in the character of students by the process of strengthening the character of caring for the environment. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. By conducting data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. This research involved 6 informants and 1 key informant. Data validity calibration technique is done by member checking, audit trial, triangulation and expert opinion. Data analysis techniques are done through data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. This research was conducted from February to June 2020. The results of this study indicate that the process of strengthening the character of environmental care for students at SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta is carried out through three processes. First, there are regulations and sanctions related to environmental care. Second, through planting habituation to maintain cleanliness and environmental sustainability. Third, by carrying out work programs related to environmental care. Changes in character that occur with the process of strengthening the character of environmental care for students at SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta, make students more concerned with the school environment and the surrounding environment. The conclusions in this study indicate that the process of strengthening the character of environmental care at SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta has been carried out and fulfills the indicators of character caring for the environment which can make students more concerned with the school environment and the surrounding environment.
