Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk cetak sebagai media pembelajaran desain grafis. Booklet ini digunakan untuk memfasilitasi mahasiswa dalam mempelajari desain grafis. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan mengikuti prosedur model pengemtbangan Rowntree yang memiliki tiga tahapan besar yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap persiapan penulisan, dan tahap penulisan dan penyuntingan. Evaluasi pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui expert review dan face-to-face tryouts. Evaluasi tersebut melibatkan 1 orang ahli materi, 1 orang ahli media, dan 3 orang pengguna. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada tahap expert review oleh ahli materi dengan nilai 3,16 dan menunjukan kategori baik. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari tahap expert review oleh ahli media dengan nilai 3,29 dan menunjukan kategori sangat baik. Pada tahapan face-to-face tryouts, diperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,8 yang menandakan secara keseluruhan Booklet ini baik dan dapat digunakan untuk digunakan mahasiswa dalam mempelajari desain grafis This development research aims to produce print products as a medium for graphic design learning.This Booklet is used to facilitate students in learning graphic design.This developmental research was carried out by following the Rowntree Development Model procedure which had three stages of work: the planning stage, the writing preparation stage, and the writing and editing stage.The evaluation in this study was carried out through expert review and face-to-face tryouts. The evaluation involved 2 material experts, 1 media expert, and 3 users.The average value obtained from the expert review stage by material experts is 3.16 and it shows as a good category. The average value obtained from the expert review stage by media expert is 3.29 and it shows as an Excellent category. At the face-to-face tryouts stage, the average value obtained is 3.8 which indicates that the Booklet is overall good and can be used for students to study graphic design.
