Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang jenis-jenis klasifikasi emosi dan hasil dari perilaku emosional yang muncul tokoh utama yang terdapat dalam novel “Al-Liṣu wa Al-Kilāb” oleh Naguib Mahfouz. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif melalui analisis isi. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah emosi-emosi dan perilaku atau ekspresi yang muncul dari tokoh utama. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri yang dibantu dengan tabel klasifikasi yang berisikan halaman buku, teks cerita, jenis-jenis emosi, serta penjelasan. Berdasarkan analisis data penelitian, peneliti memperoleh 15 Emosi Dasar dengan ungkapan marah (7), senang (4), takut (1), dan sedih (2). Sementara prespektif emosi menurut david krech terdapat 6 ungkapan Cinta (3), Rasa Bersalah (1), dan benci (3). This study aims to obtain a description of the types of classification of the main character's emotions contained and the results of the emotional behavior that appears in the novel “The Thief and the Dogs” by Naguib Mahfouz. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis method through content analysis. The focus of this research is the emotions and behaviors or expressions that emerge from the main character. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself who was assisted by a classification table containing book pages, story texts, types of emotions, and explanations. Based on data analysis, the researcher obtained that were basic emotions contained 15 expressions of anger (7), happy (4), fear (1), and sad (2). Meanwhile, from an emotional perspective, There are 6 theories of emotional perspective according to David Krech love (3), guilt (1), and hate (3).
