Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika tentang bangun ruang, khusunya pada aspek kognitif melalui pendekatan RME(Realistic Mathematics Education) pada siswa kelas IV SDS Kartika VIII – 1 Cijantung, JakartaTimur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data pada siklus I, persentase siswa yang mencapai nilai hasil belajar di atas ≥ 70 sebesar 66,67%. Namun, hasil tersebut belum memenuhi target penelitian tindakan sebesar 80%. Oleh karena itu, penelitian berlanjut pada siklus II. Pada siklus II, persentase siswa yang mencapai nilai hasil belajar ≥ 70 meningkat menjadi 86,67%, dikarenakan data hasil belajar pada siklus II sudah mencapai target, maka penelitian berhenti pada siklus II. Adapun kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah, bahwa melalui pendekatan RME (Mathematics Realistic Education) pada pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa tentang bangun ruang siswa kelas IV SDS Kartika VIII – 1 Cijantung, Jakarta Timur. ********* Class Action Research aims to improve learning outcomes mathematics of geometry, especially on cognitive aspects through the approach of RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) in grade IV SDS Kartika VIII - 1 Cijantung, East Jakarta. Based on the results obtained from the data in the first cycle, the percentage of students who achieve the learning outcomes above ≥ 70 was 66.67%. However, these results action research didn’t reach the target of 80%. Therefore, research continued on the second cycle. In the second cycle, the percentage of students who achieve the learning outcomes ≥ 70 increased to 86.67%, due to the learning outcomes data on the second cycle has reached the target, then the research stopped in the second cycle. The conclusions obtained from this study is that through approach RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) on mathematics learning can improve the results of students' mathematics learning outcomes about geometry in grade IV SDS Kartika VIII - 1 Cijantung, East Jakarta
