Abstract
Berdasarkan teori konstruksi karier dan teori pendalaman kerja (job embeddedness), tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional, adaptasi karier, dan komitmen karier terhadap kesuksesan karier dengan peran job embeddedness sebagai moderasi. Pendekatan kuantitatif kausatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan dari 129 dosen di La Tansa Mashiro Rangkasbitung, Banten menggunakan sampel jenuh. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap adaptasi karier, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen karier, adaptasi karier berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesuksesan karier, komitmen karier berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesuksesan karier, dan job embeddedness sebagai moderator, mampu memperkuat pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap adaptasi karier. Kata kunci: kepemimpinan transformasional, adaptasi karier, komitmen karier, kesuksesan karier, job embeddedness, dosen. ****** Based on career construction theory and job embeddedness theory, the aim of the present study is to give insight into the interplay between transformational leadership, career adaptability, and career commitment on career success by the role of job embeddedness as moderation. A quantitative approach was used for this study. Data were gathered from 129 lecturers at La Tansa Mashiro College. Rangkasbitung, Banten. Hypotheses were tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that the effect of transformational leadership on career adaptation was not significant, transformational leadership has a significant effect on career commitment, career adaptation has a significant effect on career success, career commitment has a significant effect on career success, and job embeddedness as a moderator, is able to strengthen the influence of transformational leadership on career adaptation.
