Abstract

PENGARUH INTENSITAS PENGGUNAAN GAWAI (GADGET) TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR ANAK KELAS I SD (Studi Ex-Post Facto di SD Negeri Baru 02 Pagi, Cijantung, Jakarta Timur) (2020) Dimas Abimanyu ABSTRAK Penelitian Ex-Post Facto ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data empiris mengenai pengaruh intensitas penggunaan gawai (gadget) terhadap prestasi belajar anak kelas I SD. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 anak yang menggunakan gawai (gadget). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah Ex-Post Facto. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket, rapot dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji-T dua sampel independen. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dihasilkan Thitung = 13,5 dan Ttabel = 1,701 menunjukan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh intensitas penggunaan gawai (gadget) terhadap prestasi belajar anak kelas I SD. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini adalah semakin rendah intensitas penggunaan gawai (gadget) maka semakin tinggi prestasi belajar anak dan semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan gawai (gadget) maka semakin rendah prestasi belajar anak. Agar intensitas penggunaan gawai (gadget) tidak berdampak negatif terhadap prestasi belajar anak, maka perlu diperhatikan hal-hal pendukungnya. Hal-hal pendukung tersebut meliputi pemahaman orang tua mengenai perkembangan teknologi serta manfaat teknologi yang baik dan benar bagi anak. Kata Kunci : Anak Kelas I SD, Intensitas Penggunaan Gawai, Prestasi Belajar INFLUENCE OF INTENSITY OF USING GADGET ON THE LEARNING ACHIEVENMENT OF FIRST GRADE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN (Ex Post Facto studies activities on SD Negeri Baru 02 Pagi, Cijantung, Jakarta Timur) (2020) Dimas Abimanyu ABSTRACT This Ex-Post Facto research was intended to find empirical data about influence of intensity of using gadget on the learning achievement of first grade elementary school children. The sampel of this research were 30 children who using gadgets. The technique of getting the sample was purposive sampling. Research method was Ex-Post Facto.. Data were collected through questionnaire, report cards and analyzed by Independent two sampling T-test. The result of hypothesis test Tcount = 13,5 and Ttable = 1.701 showed H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected, in which there was influence of the intensity of using gadget on the learning achievement of first grade elementary school children. The implication of the research was the lower intensity of the use of gadget, the higher the learning achievement of children and the higher the intensity of the use of gadget, the lower the learning achievement of children. So that the intensity of the use of gadget does not have a negative impact on children learning achievement, it is necessary to consider the supporting factors. The supporting factors include parents understanding of technological development and the benefits of good and right technology for children.
