Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Negeri 39 Jakarta, pada semester genap 2022/2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media permainan kartu UNO terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab pada siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 39 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Quasi Experimental design berbentuk pre-test and post-test with non-equivalent control-group. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas VIII-1 sebanyak 32 siswa dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas VIII-2 sebanyak 32 siswa. Terdapat tiga tahapan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: Pertama, pre-test yang dilakukan pada awal pertemuan menggunakan instrument tes berjumlah 15 soal. Kedua, treatment dilakukan dengan penggunaan media permainan kartu UNO dalam pembelajaran keterampilan membaca pada kelas eksperimen. Ketiga, post-test yang dilakukan setelah treatment pada kelas eksperimen, menggunakan instrument tes berjumlah 15 soal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media permainan kartu UNO terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa MTs Negeri 39 Jakarta tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil pengujian menggunakan uji-t yaitu thitung > ttabel yaitu 3,554 > 1,999. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Oleh karena itu terdapat peningkatan hasil keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab pada penggunaan media permainan kartu UNO. This study aims to determine the effect of using UNO card game media on Arabic reading skills in class VIII students of MTs Negeri 39 Jakarta. The research used experimental method with Quasi Experimental design in the form of pre-test and post-test with non-equivalent control-group. The research was conducted using an experimental class, namely class VIII-1 as many as 32 students and a control class, namely class VIII-2 as many as 32 students. There are three stages in this study, namely: First, a pre-test conducted at the beginning of the meeting using a test instrument totaling 15 questions. Second, treatment was carried out by using UNO card game media in learning reading skills in the experimental class. Third, the post-test which was conducted after treatment in the experimental class, using a test instrument totaling 15 questions. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the UNO card game media on the Arabic reading skills of MTs Negeri 39 Jakarta in the 2022/2023 academic year. This is evidenced by the test results using the t-test, namely tcount > ttable, namely 3.554 > 1.999. The results showed that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted.
