Abstract

*****ABSTRAK***** Kemampuan membaca partitur siswa SMK Negeri 2 Cibinong masih kurang baik dan sebagian besar dari mereka masih memulai dari dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca partitur kelas X di SMK Negeri 2 Cibinong melalui model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E semester genap tahun ajaran 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan model PTK Kemmis dan Taggart. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pre-test, test, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan tes dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca partitur siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 2 Cibinong. Peningkatan nilai akhir evaluasi siswa dapat dilihat dari jumlah siswa yang telah mencapai KKM. Pada pra siklus sebelum tindakan dilakukan, hanya ada 3 siswa yang mencapai batas KKM, dan 33 siswa belum mencapai KKM. Selanjutnya pada pelaksanaan siklus 1 terdapat 4 siswa yang melampaui kkm, 3 siswa yang mencapai batas KKM , dan 29 siswa yang belum mencapai KKM. Dari hasil tersebut, peneliti dan kolaborator memutuskan untuk melanjutkan ke siklus 2. Pada siklus 2, hasil akhir evaluasi siswa semakin meningkat dimana siswa yang melampaui KKM sebanyak 27 siswa, yang mencapai sebanyak 5 siswa, dan yang belum mencapai KKM sebanyak 3 siswa. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah dengan keberhasilan peningkatan kemampuan membaca partitur siswa melalui model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E, diharapkan kedepannya model pembelajaran ini bisa menjadi opsi sebagai strategi pembelajaran dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan membaca partitur untuk siswa. Kata Kunci: membaca, partitur, learning cycle 5E *****ABSTRACT***** The ability to read sheet music of SMK Negeri 2 Cibinong students is still not good and most of them are still starting from the basics. This research aims to improve the ability to read class X scores at SMK Negeri 2 Cibinong through the learning cycle 5E learning model for the even semester of the 2024 school year. The research method used is classroom action research using the PTK Kemmis and Taggart models. The data collected by this study used pre-tests, tests, interviews, and field notes. The data was analyzed using tests and field notes. The results of the research that have been carried out show that the learning cycle 5E learning model can improve the ability to read sheet music of class X students at SMK Negeri 2 Cibinong. The increase in the final score of student evaluation can be seen from the number of students who have reached the KKM and have not reached the KKM. In the pre-cycle before the action was taken, there were only 3 students who reached the KKM limit, and 33 students who had not reached the KKM. Furthermore, in the implementation of cycle 1, there were 4 students who exceeded the KKM, 3 students who reached the limit, and 29 students who had not reached the KKM. From these results, the researchers and collaborators decided to proceed to cycle 2. In cycle 2, the final results of student evaluation increased where 27 students exceeded KKM, 5 students, and 3 students who had not reached KKM. The benefit of this study is that with the success of improving students' score reading ability through the 5E learning cycle learning model, it is hoped that it can be used as a reference for researchers and other parties in efforts to improve sheet music reading ability.
