Abstract
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik kelas IV di SDN Petamburan 03. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 31 orang. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. yang terdiri dari tiga siklus dengan tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi serta refleksi pada setiap siklusnya. Data penelitian terdiri dari data proses dan data hasil belajar peserta didik. Proses data diperoleh melalui observasi aktivitas guru dan aktivitas peserta didik serta data kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik yang diperoleh melalui tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik pada setiap siklus. Pada siklus pertama, hanya 39% peserta didik yang tuntas sementara 61% tidak tuntas. Pada siklus dua, peserta didik yang telah tuntas mencapai 65% dan yang tidak tuntas hanya 35%. Pada siklus tiga, peserta didik yang telah tuntas mencapai 87% dan yang tidak tuntas hanya 13%. Kesimpulannya yaitu adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada setiap siklus sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education modifikasi Etnomatematika telah berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education, Etnomatematika, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Sekolah Dasar ***** This classroom action research was carried out with the aim of improving the mathematical problem solving abilities of class IV students at SDN Petamburan 03. The subjects in this research were 31 class IV students. The type of research is classroom action research using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. which consists of three cycles with stages, namely planning, action and observation and reflection in each cycle. Research data consists of process data and student learning outcomes data. The data process was obtained through observing teacher activities and student activities as well as data on students mathematical problem solving abilities obtained through tests. The research results showed that there was an increase in students mathematical problem solving abilities in each cycle. In the first cycle, only 39% of students completed it while 61% did not complete it. In the second cycle, 65% of students had completed and only 35% had not completed. In the third cycle, 87% of students had completed it and only 13% had not completed it. The conclusion is that there is an increase in mathematical problem solving abilities in each cycle so that it can be stated that the approach is applied Realistic Mathematics Education Ethnomathematics modifications have succeeded in improving students problem solving abilities.
