Abstract

ABSTRAK Yusi Rakhmah Wati. 2020. Efektivitas Model Reciprocal Teaching terhadap Hasil Membaca Bahasa Jepang Kelas XI SMA Plus PGRI Cibinong. Skripsi. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching terhadap hasil belajar membaca bahasa Jepang kelas XI SMA Plus PGRI Cibinong dan untuk mengetahui kesan siswa setelah mempelajari bahasa Jepang dengan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching. Adapun yang menjadi latar belakang dari penelitian ini yaitu pengajaran berupa membaca bahasa Jepang kerap mengalami kesulitan pada siswa kelas XI terutama dalam memahami bacaan dan kosakata, hal ini ditandai dengan rendahnya perolehan siswa yang masih dibawah KKM yang menjadikan permasalahan ini harus segera diatasi. Membaca mempunyai fungsi meningkatkan daya ingat terhadap pemahaan materi, dengan membaca siswa dapat memahami berbagai nuansa makna yang dijumpai dalam berbagai teks tertulis bahasa Jepang. Reciprocal Teaching digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena dianggap mampu meningkatkan kemampuan bernalar siswa dalam pemahaman konsep dan pemecahan masalah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Desain yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian One Group Pre Test Post Test Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang siswa kelas XI IPS. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data efektivitas model Reciprocal Teaching terhadap hasil membaca bahasa jepang kelas XI memperoleh t hitung > t tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% (14,334 > 2,045) dan mempunyai nilai p < 0,05 atau Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak yang berarti dapat disimpulkan terdapat peningkatan secara signifikan pada skor hasil belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen yang artinya model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching efektif terhadap hasil membaca bahasa Jepang kelas XI SMA Plus PGRI Cibinong. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model on learning outcomes in reading Japanese class XI SMA Plus PGRI Cibinong and to determine the impression of students after learning Japanese with the Reciprocal Teaching learning model. As for the background of this research is teaching in the form of reading Japanese often has difficulty in class XI students, especially in understanding reading and vocabulary, this is indicated by the low acquisition of students who are still under KKM which makes this problem must be addressed immediately. Reading has the function of increasing the memory of the understanding of the material, by reading students can understand the various nuances of meaning found in various written texts in Japanese. Reciprocal Teaching is used in this study because it is considered able to improve students' reasoning ability in understanding concepts and problem solving. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The design used is research design One Group Pre Test Post Test Group Design. The sample in this study amounted 30 students of class XI IPS. The instruments used were tests and questionnaires. Based on the results of data processing the effectiveness of the Reciprocal Teaching model on the results of reading Japanese class XI obtained t arithmetic> t table at a significance level of 5% (14,334> 2,045) and has a value of p <0.05 or Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected which means it can be concluded there is an increase significantly on the scores of the experimental group students' learning outcomes, which means the Reciprocal Teaching learning model is effective against Japanese XI grade XI SMA Plus PGRI Cibinong reading results.
