Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi kepribadian dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru karena kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Makasar Jakarta Timur masih dibawah nilai minimum berdasarkan nilai uji kompetensi guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis penelitian adalah model statistik regresi linier berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 230 guru SMA Negeri di kecamatan Makasar Jakarta Timur. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 146 guru yang tersebar di 5 SMA Negeri Kecamatan Makasar Jakarta Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kompetensi kepribadian tehadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Makasar Kota Jakarta Timur sebesar 3,84%, artinya bahwa apabila kompetensi kepribadian diterapkan dengan baik maka akan dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru, 2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara disiplin kerja tehadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Makasar Kota Jakarta Timur sebesar 10,55%, artinya bahwa semakin tinggi penerapan disiplin kerja maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja gurunya, 3) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kompetensi kepribadian dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Makasar Kota Jakarta Timur sebesar 13%, artinya bahwa dengan kompetensi kepribadian dan disiplin kerja akan menunjang peningkatan kinerja guru. Hasil pengujian hipotesis utama dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi kepribadian dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Makasar Jakarta Timur. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of personality competence and work discipline on teacher performance because the performance of public high school teachers in Makasar District, East Jakarta is still below the minimum value based on teacher competency test scores. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with survey technique. While the data analysis technique used to answer the research hypothesis is a multiple linear regression statistical model. The population in this study were 230 public high school teachers in Makasar sub-district, East Jakarta. Respondents in this study were 146 teachers spread across 5 public high schools in Makasar sub-district, East Jakarta. The results showed that 1) there is a significant influence between personality competence on the performance of public high school teachers in Makasar District, East Jakarta City by 3.84%, meaning that if personality competence is implemented properly it will be able to improve teacher performance, 2) there is a significant influence between work discipline on the performance of public high school teachers in Makasar District, East Jakarta City by 10.55%, meaning that the higher the application of work discipline, the higher the performance of the teacher, 3) there is a significant influence between personality competence and work discipline on the performance of public high school teachers in Makasar District, East Jakarta by 13%. meaning that with personality competence and work discipline will support the improvement of teacher performance. The results of testing the main hypothesis in this study can be concluded that personality competence and work discipline affect the performance of public high school teachers in Makasar District, East Jakarta.
