Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran video animasi fun cican terhadap perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain post test only control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 anak yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang berisi perlakuan menonton video animasi fun cican disertai kegiatan pendukung yang disesuaikan dengan isi materi dalam video, yaitu mencuci tangan dan membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Kegiatan pendukung tersebut meliputi, diskusi, praktik langsung mencuci tangan, eksperimen pengenalan konsep bersih dan kotor saat mencuci tangan, serta praktik memilah sampah sesuai jenisnya. Adapun kelompok kontrol menggunakan media buku cerita bergambar tanpa disertai kegiatan praktik langsung. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi perilaku PHBS yang mencakup aspek pemahaman, memberi tanggapan, mempraktikkan, mengomunikasikan aktivitas, mengekspresikan emosi sesuai situasi, dan ungkapan verbal dari inisiatif anak. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan nilai t.hitung sebesar 2,025 > t.tabel sebesar 1,701 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Rata-rata skor perilaku PHBS anak pada kelompok eksperimen adalah 161,33, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol adalah 134,4. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi fun cican yang didukung dengan kegiatan pembelajaran terstruktur mampu meningkatkan perilaku PHBS anak usia dini secara lebih baik. ***** This study aims to examine the effect of using the fun cican animated video as an instructional medium on clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in children aged 5-6 years. The research employed a quantitative with an experimental method using a post test only control group design. The sample consisted of 30 children divided into two groups an experimental group, which received treatment through watching the fun cican animated video accompanied by supporting activities aligned with the video content specifically on proper handwashing and waste disposal. These supporting activities included discuccions, direct handwashing practice,s a hands on experiment introducing the concept of clean and dirty during handwashing, and practicing waste sorting based on type. The control group used ilustrated storybooks as the learning medium without any hands on practice activities.. The research instrument used was an observation sheet assessing PHBS, which included aspects such as understanding, giving responses, practing, communicating activities, expressing appropriate emotions, and verbal expressions of children’s initiative. The results of data analysis using the t-test showed a significant difference betweem the experimental and control groups, with a t.calculated value of 2.025 greater than the t.table value of 1.701 at a significance level of 0.05. The average PHBS score of children in the experimental group was 161,33 while the control group had an avarage score of 134,4. These findings indicate that the use of the fun cican animated video, supported by structured learning activities, effectively improves clean and healthy living behavior among early childhood learners.
