Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa Madrasah Aliyah yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan penguasaan kosakata, rendahnya motivasi belajar, serta penggunaan media pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional dan kurang menarik. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap teks bacaan bahasa Arab, meskipun secara teknis siswa mampu membaca huruf dan harakat dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab berbasis video animasi menggunakan aplikasi Doratoon yang layak, menarik, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap analisis ditemukan bahwa siswa membutuhkan media pembelajaran visual yang interaktif untuk membantu pemahaman teks bacaan bahasa Arab. Tahap perancangan menghasilkan desain media video animasi yang memuat teks bacaan bahasa Arab, ilustrasi visual, audio, serta animasi pendukung. Media yang dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media dengan hasil penilaian yang menunjukkan bahwa media dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Implementasi media dilakukan pada siswa kelas XII Madrasah Aliyah An-Nida Jakarta Barat dan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video animasi mampu meningkatkan minat, motivasi, serta pemahaman siswa terhadap teks bacaan bahasa Arab. Evaluasi melalui angket respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi menggunakan aplikasi Doratoon dinilai efektif, menarik, dan mudah digunakan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab.***** This study is motivated by the low level of Arabic reading skills among Madrasah Aliyah students, which is caused by limited vocabulary mastery, low learning motivation, and the continued use of conventional and less engaging learning media. These conditions have resulted in students low comprehension of Arabic reading text’s, even though technically they are able to read Arabic letters and diacritis correctly. Therefore, this study aims to develop animated video-based learning media for Arabic reading skills usingt to Darotoon application that are feasible, engaging, and aligned with learner’s needs. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Develoment, Implementation, and evaluation. During the analysis stage, it was found that students require interactive visual learning media to support their comprehendsion of Arabic reading text’s. the design stage resulted in an animated video learning media design that incorporates Arabic reading text, visual illustrations, audio, and supporting animations. The developed media were subsequently validated by subject matter experts and media experts, and the evaluation results indicated that the media are appropriate for use in the learning process. The implementation of the media with twelfth grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Annida, West Jakarta, demonstrated that the use of animated video media was able to enhace student’s interst, motivation, and comprehension of Arabic reading text’s. furthermore, the evaluation through student response questionnaires showed that the animated video based learning media developed using the Doratoon application are effective, engaging, and easy to use in teaching reading skills.
