Abstract

***** This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life integration on job hopping among Generation Z in the digital era in Jabodetabek. The research employed a quantitative approach using explanatory research methods. The study sample comprised 179 respondents selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected via a questionnaire using the Work–Life Integration instrument developed by Kumar et al. (2021) and the Job Hopping Motives Scale developed by Lake et al. (2017). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that all dimensions of work–life integration simultaneously have a significant effect on job hopping (F = 2.583; p < 0.05) with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.056 or 5.6%. Partially, the family-to-work interference dimension does not have a significant effect on job hopping (p = 0.091 > 0.05), the work-to-family interference dimension has a positive and significant effect on job hopping (p = 0.026 < 0.05), the work-family strain dimension has a negative and significant effect on job hopping (p = 0.004 < 0.05), while the work-family enrichment dimension does not have a significant effect on job hopping (p = 0.279 > 0.05). These findings indicate that work-life integration is one of the factors influencing job hopping tendencies among Generation Z employees, although its contribution is relatively small.
